Aurora Harrison-Bull Aurora's ability to harmonize composition and color allows her to depict a wide variety of subjects in a way that is both realistic and romantic. Working exclusively in oil, she combines opaque tones of soft colors with layers of transparent glaze to achieve an authentic, three-dimensional quality tempered with subtle overtones. Aurora is basically self-taught. However, she continues to hone her skills by attending workshops in other artistic media such as watercolor and pastels. She also shares her knowledge and experience with other artists by conducting workshops and demonstrations. Aurora's paintings invite the viewer into an idyllic natural environment that speaks to people of all ages. She is the recipient of many awards and honors and was recently featured in North Light magazine. Her paintings hang in numerous corporate and private collections throughout the United States and abroad.
