Greg Sharpe
Greg, a resident of Fountain City (Knoxville, Tennessee), is a highly regarded and widely collected watercolor artist. He has been the recipient of many awards, including "Best of Show" in the semi-annual competition sponsored by the prestigious Fountain City Art Guild. He likes to paint scenes from everyday life that catch his eye. His work ranges from farmland to cityscape, from mountains to beaches, and from summer flowers to Christmas scenes. His images "strike a chord" in everyone's life, ensuring his continued popularity.
While Greg was a "doodler" and was always interested in art, serious study as an artist began just as he was retiring from his banking career with the former Park National Bank. In addition to being an officer in the Fountain City Art Guild, Greg is a past member of the Tennessee Artists' Association and former Board Member of the Arts Council of Greater Knoxville.
