Mike Ryon Mike Ryon grew up in New York and Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in his formative years and has been living abroad on and off for the last two decades. As a youth he was taken by both painterly art and exacting draftsmanship, which helped guide him to study architecture at North Carolina State University. After NCSU, Ryon served a tour of duty in Vietnam, then continued his education at Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida, where he graduated in Commercial Design and Illustration. His style of fluid strokes and astonishing colors weaves through all his works, from watercolor and oil landscapes, to portraiture and abstract paintings. His work represents a striking diversity of subjects, styles and interests. Village Fine Art is especially pleased to represent Mike Ryon's artwork.
