Suzanne Jack Suzanne Jack's sensibility as an artist and her devotion to the land is revealed through a vivid color palette and dynamic energy. She presents the land in her artwork as a metaphor for her interior landscape and says that a joyful heart flows from a spirit nourished by understanding one's emotions, character and passion. She earned the B.S. degree in art education from Ohio State University and the M.S. in education from the University of Tennessee. Her first-place awards and honors are numerous. In 2006 she won first place in the abstract category for The Pastel Journal's national competition. She has exhibited her work in countless venues across the state of Tennessee. Corporate collections that hold her work include Home Federal Bank, TVA, Opryland, Corporate Interiors, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Her work has been featured in The Pastel Journal, Homes & Living Magazine, Knoxville News Sentinel, City View Magazine, and the calendar, State of Mind: The Artistry of Tennessee.
