Valentina Amelyanchek
It's a real pleasure to introduce Valentina Amelyanchek. She is as bright,
emotional, thoughtful and charming as her work from this collection. The inner
world of the artist can be observed through her canvases, and we hardly need to
make any comment. The universe, which is more than reality, is the subject of
her paintings. The shade of the fallen leaf on the lake mirror, other planets,
and invisible things are parts of the artist's soul landscape.
All canvases of Valentina Amelyanchek have a common feature. They attempt to find and decipher
hidden scripts of nature and to create new codes by which to read ordinary things and
give them new brightness. The different world of Valentina's paintings creates a friendly environment wherever her canvases are placed. Her paintings appeal to the understanding and are not
dull, but are full of meaning without trying to impose.
Valentina was born in 1949 in Chegdomin (Russian Far East). She is a graduate
of the Khabarovsk Pedagogical Institute in 1971. Valentina became a member of
the Russian Union of Artists in 1986. In 2003 she moved to Saint-Petersburg,
Russia, where she lives and works. Valentina's works are located now in Far Eastern Art Museum, Fedotov's Art Gallery, Art Gallery of Tokyo and at private galleries and collections in Russia, USA, Germany, Japan and Singapore.
